About
I am a licensed Clinical Health Psychologist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral approaches to coping with pain, headache and insomnia, as well as anxiety & depression associated with chronic illness. I completed a pre-doctoral residency in Health Psychology at the Phoenix VA Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, focusing on assisting veterans with complex medical challenges and comorbid PTSD symptoms, and postdoctoral work at UCLA’s Orofacial Pain Clinic training residents and helping patients better understand biospsychosocial approaches to chronic pain management. Prior to completing my Ph.D., I also completed a terminal Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology specializing in Addiction and Recovery.
